Soda Ash

Sodium Carbonate also known as disodium carbonate is a chemical substance white in color and its aqueous solution is clear and colorless (chemical formula Na₂ CO₃). It is also known as Sodium Carbonate, and is a white, anhydrous, odorless powder. It is non-toxic and non-flammable, thus it is safe to use and even kept in the household. It has been used in ancient Egyptian times in the making of glass ornaments and vessels. The Romans also used soda ash for baking bread, making glass and medicinal purposes. In the modern day, it is still a widely used commodity.
